Best Alfa engine was the 12v 3.0 V6 in the 164. Apart from the odd head gasket it was another properly engineered 'money no object' engine that was simply fabulous. The 24v version gave more top end power but somehow it was never as nice and reliability of the early versions was shocking.
First car at 18 y/o, Alfa Romeo 147 from 2006. I hope you don't have any metal studs on your jeans pockets. It's a nice car, I wish my first car was a 147, they're so nice. You ll hate this picture in a few years time and see the price of petrol per litre was 1739. It ll make you sad and old at the same time.
